Admiral has announced the appointment of William Roberts as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
Roberts brings with him a wealth of insurance, underwriting and marketing experience gained during his time at US insurer, GEICO, which he joined in 1984.
Whilst at GEICO, he held several executive appointments, including COO, president and CEO for all of its insurance companies, a position he held from 2018 until he was promoted to vice chairman in 2020.
Also being announced by the group is that Manning Rountree will step down as a non-executive director on 17 June 2021, having served six years on the board and as a member of the group risk committee.
Furthermore, non-executive director, JP Rangaswami, will join the group risk committee with effect from 17 June 2021.
