Allianz launches broker apprenticeship programme

The programme will provide successful candidates with training needed to take on the role

Allianz Insurance has launched the Allianz Broker Apprentice Programme, in an effort to invest in the industry’s future leaders.

The programme has been developed in partnership with a specialist training provider, Davies Learning Solutions, and will provide successful candidates with the training needed to take on the role.

The new scheme will build upon the insurer’s current broker training programme and will include monthly one-to-one sessions, tutor-led workshops and additional learning opportunities.

The insurer will fund the apprenticeship training, CII certification training and exams costs for the brokers chosen to participate.

Sarah Mallaby, director of broker markets at Allianz Insurance, said: “Investing in people and talent across the industry is something that we’re hugely passionate about, so we are really excited to be launching the new Allianz Broker Apprenticeship Programme.

“We believe that this new programme will not only benefit the careers of individual brokers, but also the insurance sector as a whole. We want to support our broker partners to build the next generation of industry leaders and experts.”

She added: “I believe that together we can drive forward professionalism and expertise, whilst attracting new talent to the profession.”

Deadline for applications is 31 January 2021.
