Allianz has announced the names of charities who will be beneficiaries of further support from its ‘Community Fund’ pledge.
The insurer’s employees were asked to choose three Surrey charities to benefit from the latest round of donations from the initiative.
The fund was launched last year and is managed by the Community Foundation for Surrey (CFS).
Among the charities who will receive support from the insurer are Talk Surrey, which aims to support people with aphasia, Surrey Care Trust (SCT) and PACT, which offers to support prisoners’ families, prisoners, and people with convictions.
Carolyn Rich, head of brand and social responsibility at Allianz Insurance, said: “As a business, we aim to secure the future for our customers, employees and for society.
“Guildford is home to our largest office in the UK and we’re delighted to have found a way we can support different charities in our local community.”
She added: “Our panel of employees were very impressed with the amazing work carried out by TALK Surrey, Surrey Care Trust and PACT, so we are delighted to be able to support all three.”
