CFC creates new senior underwriting team

The new team will assist CFC’s growth plans and help the executive team to deliver on its strategy

CFC Underwriting has announced the creation of its new senior underwriting team.

The new team will assist CFC’s growth plans and help the executive team to deliver on its strategy.

Among the new appointees to the team are Tim Boyce as head of professions and healthcare, Michael Brunero as head of tech, media and intellectual property, and James Burns as head of cyber.

Furthermore, Wayne Harrington will form part of the team after joining CFC as its head of property and casualty.

Dave Walsh, CFC’s CEO and founder, said: “We’ve more than doubled our headcount over the past three years through the growth of our existing teams as well as acquisitions in the UK, the United States and Australia.

“Over half of our people are now employed across our underwriting teams. They’re the engine powering our continued growth and so it’s important that we have the right leadership in place to own each product line not only to help shape, evolve and implement underwriting strategy but also to play a critical role in the management and oversight of each team.”
