Included in the takeover are the Tasker Insurance Brokers, Tasker and Partners, and Gresham Underwriting brands.
The deal also sees Robert Organ and Graeme Lalley, CEO and COO at Tasker, take on the roles of managing director at Jensten Retail and COO at Jensten Group respectively.
Both Organ and Lalley in turn join Alistair Hardie, CEO, Ed Hannan, CFO, and Simon Taylor, wholesale MD, on the Jensten board.
Hardie said: “Tasker is an excellent business and a strong strategic fit providing us with enhanced scale in each of our core business areas – retail insurance broking, Lloyd’s and London Market broking, and specialist underwriting.
“Our innovative model for acquisitions, combined with the flexible proposition we offer to management, staff, and clients, makes us an attractive alternative for high-quality community brokers looking to find new investors.”
The transaction marks Jensten’s third of the year, following the additions of both Packetts and Advance.
