Tomorrow’s FOIL names Rebecca Heyes as president

Heyes appointment as the new president of Tomorrow's FOIL, a member organisation for lawyers with less than 5 years post qualification experience, will see her succeed her predecessor Megan Lafferty in the role

Rebecca Heyes, solicitor and senior costs advisor at Dwf has been appointed president of Tomorrow’s Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).

Heyes appointment as the new president of Tomorrow’s FOIL, a member organisation for lawyers with less than five years post qualification experience, will see her succeed her predecessor Megan Lafferty in the role.

Heyes was previously education officer for the group adding that in her new role she will aim to assist the organisation in developing further learning, social and networking events for lawyers to develop their skills and build relationships with fellow practitioners and insurance professionals.

Her role will also involve addressing continued support to the younger lawyers in the membership regarding working from home and the future of home- working post pandemic.

Heyes said: “I am delighted to be appointed as President of Tomorrow’s FOIL.

“There are lots of great initiatives in the pipeline, which will help to raise awareness of Tomorrow’s FOIL, further increase memberships and build upon the great established relationships that we have as an organisation.”
