Davies has announced the acquisition of specialist cloud application provider ContactPartners, in a bid to deliver bespoke customer contact technologies for the insurance, banking and wider financial services markets.
Based in Oxford, ContactPartners manages more than 10 million client interactions annually through cloud based digital transformation.
The firm helps organisations of all sizes to improve their contact strategies and customer experience using a range of digital technologies.
ContactPartners will now join the technology and consulting division at Davies, led by Mark Grocott, and will re-brand to Davies Technology Solutions in early 2021.
ContactPartners founding directors Russell Hopcraft and Paul Harvey will continue to lead the business, and will report to Davies’ Technology Solutions head, Jason Wolfe.
The deal marks the fourth acquisition by Davies this year, following the acquisition of: Keoghs, the insurance-focused, top-50 law firm, which was announced in January and completed earlier in March, Codebase8 the automation and digital solutions provider to the insurance and other highly regulated markets, and Citadel and Cedar Consulting the captive management and consulting businesses.
It comes as Davies has increased its annual investments in innovation and digital transformation more than four-fold, including in its CQ claims processing platform, legal AI and automation, its video and drone claims handling solutions, as well as investing in automation, speech analytics and virtual reality training solutions.
Dan Saulter, Davies’ group CEO commented: “We are excited to welcome Russell, Paul and the whole ContactPartners team to Davies. The acquisition is in line with our strategy to invest in disruptive technology and digital transformation.
“Together we can offer new technology and innovation options to our 750+ insurance and financial services clients across the globe, as well as applying ContactPartners skills to help us transform our own business.”
Russell Hopcraft, founding director at ContactPartners added: “The move to Davies will create great opportunities for our clients and for our team.
“It’s the perfect setting for our ambitions in the insurance and financial services sectors, and the right move at a time when digital transformation of customer touchpoints has accelerated.”
He added: “Our technologies are very relevant in today’s environment, and we look forward to unleashing their potential. Paul and I are delighted that our business journey has arrived at such a tremendous destination, and we are thrilled about this new future.”
