Davies announces Scottish acquisition

Davies, a professional services specialist and technology business, has announced the acquisition of BMTS, a motor inspections and engineering business.

The Scotland-based BMTS provides vehicle inspection and witness services to the insurance, legal, and private sectors.

With over 4,000 colleagues, Davies is a global provider of professional services and technology solutions across the risk and insurance value chain.

The deal will provide BMTS with access to Davies’ desktop and field engineering services, including total loss solutions, collision investigation, failure analysis, and vehicle assessments for the company’s insurance clients.

Kevn Miles will continue to run the daily operations at MBTS, however he will now report to Amy Isherwood, Davies’ head of motor engineering and supply chain.
