With 30 years of industry experience, Focus ORM will provide Parnters& with expertise in key growth areas such as science and technology, and private clients, in turn enhancing the firm’s existing practices in the sectors.
As part of the deal, Nick Jones will join Partners& as managing partner, reporting directly to group CEO, Phil Barton.
Speaking on the transaction, Jones said: “We share a similar culture and a common vision, so in many ways it will be business as usual.
“There is no doubt we will benefit from the experience of working with some of the best talent in the industry, whilst our clients can benefit from the extended range of services we can now provide as a part of Partners&.”
The move follows Parnters& strategy to combine broking traditions with the modern use of technology.
Barton acknowledged the “exceptional client culture” at Focus, adding that the team will “dovetail with Partners&, bolstering [their] capabilities” in key growth areas.
