Jody Yee is set to be appointed as Global Industry Solution director for Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty (AGCS), effective 1 January.
He has 18 years of experience in corporate insurance and alternative risks transfer, and has specialised in developing innovative solutions to drive growth and scale business development.
Yee has worked in both traditional insurance underwriting as well as alternative risk transfer. In his most recent role as managing director and global practice group leader cyber in the
Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) division of AGCS, his focus was on business development, global captive fronting as well as structured and integrated transactions.
He first joined AGCS in 2007 and has had several leadership roles in Finance and Underwriting in Munich, London and New York.
His latest appointment follows the successful launch of the Financial Services industry practice in 2020 with Paul Schiavone as a Global Industry Solution director. Both are reporting to AGCS global head of Distribution, Jeremy Sharpe.
