The American International Group (AIG) has announced that Graham Fulcher will join the company as International General Insurance chief actuary during the first quarter of 2022.
In this newly created role, Fulcher will be based in London and report to Jon Hancock, chief executive officer of International General Insurance, and Richard Olsen, chief actuary of General Insurance.
Fulcher’s responsibilities will include determining appropriate pricing, reserving, and establishing risk and actuarial objectives that are aligned with AIG’s global actuarial strategies.
He joins AIG from Chubb where he served as chief actuary for Overseas General Insurance since 2016. Prior to this, he held a number of senior management roles for Willis Towers Watson’s insurance consulting business, including as managing director of the U.K. and Irish property and casualty and life insurance sector practice.
Earlier in his career, he was chief actuary for ACE European Group, chief actuary of European operations for ACE Tempest Re, group actuary for Cox Insurance Plc and UK actuary for Cologne Re.
