Levens joined the firm in 2013, joining the Allianz Underwriting Graduate Scheme, later becoming a P&C underwriter for the firm’s Maidstone branch.
By the end of the 2018, Levens had become a senior underwriter for the Manchester office within the space of seven years of joining the graduate scheme.
He will be responsible for managing Allianz’s Property and Casualty accounts in the North West, and will also provide a major contribution to the development of the skills and talent of underwriters in his region.
Sarah Mallaby, director of broker markets for Allianz Insurance, said: “Andy’s journey and progression had shown us all how talented he is. I am very happy to confirm him as the new property and casualty manager for Manchester and the north west.
“From his time in the graduate programme, to his fantastic work while already in Manchester, he is well placed to oversee further growth in his department. I want to say welcome, and good luck.”
