Arch Insurance International has announced the appointment of Tom Rivers as its new chief risk officer, with immediate effect.

He now joins from AXIS Managing Agency where he was chief risk officer for nearly five years. Prior to that, he was chief risk officer at Novae Group and previously held senior actuarial roles at PwC.

Commenting on the appointment, Hugh Sturgess, CEO of Arch Insurance International, said: “Tom is a highly respected authority on risk management.
