Rackley started her career in the insurance sector 30 years ago, having previously worked for Bowring Marsh McLennan for 4 years and then Chubb Insurance for a further 4 year stint before her time with Aston Lark.
SIB, which is part of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), is a community of practice for insurance broking professionals that looks to increase the levels of professional knowledge and technical competence within the industry.
On her appointment, Rackley said: “I am delighted to be joining the CII Society of Insurance Brokers, it’s a great platform for brokers and offers fantastic opportunities to network, improve knowledge and share experiences.
“I am particularly looking forward to raising the profile of personal lines, we don’t have a big enough voice in the insurance market as a whole, yet we are in control of protecting our clients most important and valuable assets.”
She added: “What I can offer is an experienced view on how we are perceived and ways we can improve our communication to build better relationships and ensure our clients see us as trusted partners.”
“She brings a wealth of broking experience, and significant insights on achieving the best outcomes for clients with demanding and complex needs, particularly in the consumer space.”
He added: “Her knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to raise the levels of professional knowledge and technical competence amongst our members.”
