Beazley non-executive director Catherine Woods to step down

The company is currently in search for a new non-executive director following its policy on director rotation.

Beazley plc has announced that Catherine Woods, non-executive director, will step down from the board at the conclusion of the 2022 AGM.

The announcement follows the conclusion of two three-year terms, and it is in line with the insurance company’s policy on director independence and rotation.

With 20 years of experience on listed, private and pro-bono boards, Woods has been a non-executive director of Beazley plc and chair of Beazley Insurance since 2015.

Additionally, she is the vice chair of BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited, and chair of its Accounts Review committee.

Meanwhile, the company has initiated a search for a new non-executive director.

David Roberts, chairman of Beazley, said: “I, together with the rest of the board, would like to extend our sincere thanks to Catherine for her excellent contribution and we wish her all the very best for the future.”
