Independent insurance broker Tysers has appointed Clive Buesnel as CEO.
Buesnel has spent much of his career in both operational and strategic roles in the UK and global insurance markets, most recently serving as a senior partner, vice chairman and UK head of insurance at ‘Big Four’ accountancy firm Deloitte.
Prior to Deloitte, Buesnel spent a decade at Xchanging, where he was a founding member and executive director of the Insurance business.
He will join an executive team based in London with 1,100 employees (including Tysers and RFIB) operating in more than 10 regions around the world focused on delivering creative insurance solutions for clients with complex and specialty risks.
Buesnel said: “This is a really interesting time in the global insurance industry, especially in the London Market with the current market dynamics and the change we will see over the next few years.”
