The Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) has welcomed Claire Lashbrook, director of operations and third party administration at Claims Consortium Group, to its advisory board of the Society of Claims Professionals.
The Society of Claims Professionals is the professional body, within the CII, “dedicated to those working in the claims sector”.
Lashbrook is director of operations and third party administration at Claims Consortium Group overseeing all claim operations including validations, repairs and out of hours.
She began her career with Claims Consortium Group in 2011 as a claims handler, then progressed on to service manager and operations manager before being appointed operations director in 2020.
According to the group, since joining the profession in 2011 she has been “instrumental in challenging the status quo and driving positive changes in claim operations”.
Lashbrook is also currently president of the Exeter CII, having previously been the first careers officer for the institute.
Sue McCall, chair of the society of claims professionals at CII, said: “I am delighted to welcome Claire to the Advisory Board of the Society of Claims Professionals.
“Her rapid career progression demonstrates what a talented claims professional she is, and her previous involvement with the CII’s New Generation programme is a further endorsement of that. I look forward to working with her as we continue to provide insight and knowledge to our members across the sector.”
