Liberty Mutual Insurance has confirmed a series of key leadership appointments after the announcement that Dennis Langwell, the insurer’s president of global risk solutions, will retire at the end of 2021.
From 1 July 2021, Tim Sweeney will become the president of Liberty Mutual and will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s three business units.
Furthermore, Neeti Bhalla Johnson will take over as Liberty Mutual’s president of global risk solutions and Jim MacPhee will become its president for global retail markets, managing the firm’s retail insurance business.
On the new appointments, David Long, the insurance group’s chairman and CEO, said: “Today’s announcement marks an important chapter for the company.
“These new executive leadership appointments better position us now and in the future as a leading global insurer and will help us capitalize on opportunities across our businesses.”
