Miller appoints new head of Surety

Sally Hinchey, who brings with her 16 years of industry experience, joins from Willis Towers Watson where she most recently held the position of Surety director

Miller, an independent specialist (re)insurance broker, has appointed Sally Hinchey as its head of Surety, in what is a newly created role. 

Following her appointment, Hinchey will report to Pauline Goreham, head of Construction, and will be based in London.

Hinchey, who brings with her 16 years of industry experience, joins from Willis Towers Watson where she most recently held the position of Surety director. Here, she led the business’ surety proposition in the UK, designing, placing and coordinating “innovative” surety solutions.  

In her new role, Hinchey will be responsible for leading and developing Miller’s surety offering, working closely with the Construction team to further its capabilities in the space, whilst “using her expertise to support growth across other lines of business”.

With extensive experience leading and growing client relationships in the surety market, her appointment is an important milestone as we look to build out a strong surety proposition.
