Mosaic Insurance appoints new head of international war and terrorism

Adam McGrath arrives from AXA XL, and will be responsible for ‘building out the global book of business, while complementing work by the division’s North American team’

Mosaic Insurance has announced the appointment of Adam McGrath as head of international war and terrorism, and political violence. 

McGrath will be responsible for “building out the global book of business”, while “complementing” work by the division’s North American team.

He will also represent Mosaic as a member of the Lloyd’s market association (LMA) panel on political violence.

Political violence coverage was the first product line launched globally by Mosaic in March, The company currently writes the business from Bermuda, London, and New York.

McGrath previously spent eight years at AXA XL, expanding its political violence line, and additionally worked at Hiscox. Prior to underwriting, McGrath served as a broker for Aon’s crisis-management division focused on terrorism.
