MS Amlin names Julie Hopes as non-executive director

During her executive career, Hopes was the managing director for insurance at Tesco Bank and international operations director at RSA

MS Amlin Underwriting Limited has announced the appointment of Julie Hopes to its board as a notified independent non-executive director (iNED).

Hopes will also take over as chair of the risk and solvency committee later this year, subject to regulatory approval, assuming the role from Gilles Bonvarlet who will be retiring from the board after over eight years service as a director.

Hopes has over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector and currently holds  board positions at SAGA plc and West Bromwich Building Society.  

During her executive career, Hopes was the managing director for insurance at Tesco Bank and international operations director at RSA.
