Hogarth joins RPC from Clyde & Co, where he specialised in insurance sector commercial, regulatory, reinsurance and transactional matters.
He joins the firm on 6 September 2021, and brings with him over 15 years’ experience, having trained and qualified at Slaughter and May. He joined Clyde & Co in 2013.
He is ranked as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ by UK Legal 500 for Corporate and Regulatory Insurance and as ‘Up and Coming’ by UK Chambers for non-contentious insurance.
He reportedly has a “proven track record” of advising on a full spectrum of commercial, regulatory and transactional work for major insurers, reinsurers, brokers, intermediaries and other insurance market participants in both the general and life insurance markets.
He also has significant experience of prudential and conduct regulation, complex reinsurance structures, legacy market transactions, M&A, product development, insurance distribution and capacity arrangements and Lloyd’s of London-related matters, including third party reinsurance-to-close deals and consortium arrangements.
