Sedgwick appoints international business development director

In his new role, James Norman will work with the company’s international operations team and be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities

Sedgwick has announced the appointment of James Norman as its new business development director for its international operations.

In his new role, Norman will work with the company’s international operations team and be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, as well as strengthening Sedgwick’s relationships with existing and prospective clients. 

He joins Sedgwick from a global loss adjusting and insurance services firm, where he served as global head of strategy and business development for over three years. Prior to that, he was head of the insurance practice and market lead for business development and sales in East Africa at a Big Four accounting firm.

According to Segdwick, he brings more than 20 years of experience in the global insurance sector, as well as a “strong” network of industry contacts.
