Sedgwick, a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions, has appointed Nicola Dryden as UK chief client officer.
Dryden has over 20 years of experience working in the insurance sector. She brings to Sedgwick a “wealth of expertise in the management of strategic accounts, financial results, partnerships, new business deals and contract negotiations”. She also has “extensive international experience” from working in Canada and supporting deals in France.
Sedgwick said Dryden will fill the role currently held by David Aiston, who is retiring in March. She joins Sedgwick’s UK executive committee and will ensure the delivery of client needs as well as the company’s longer-term business and growth strategy. She will also lead Sedgwick’s client relationship management team.
Paul White, Sedgwick CEO for the UK, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank David for everything he has delivered for the business over the last 12 years; he’s built a fantastic team that will keep Sedgwick at the forefront of our industry.
“I am thrilled to have Nicola join the Sedgwick family. With her notable business development experience, we look forward to the new opportunities and growth she will bring about for Sedgwick’s business and our clients in the market.”
He added: “This appointment will enhance Sedgwick’s leadership position in the claims management and services sector to ensure we remain firmly on track to deliver on our longstanding commitment to growth through client partnerships and investments in technology and innovation.”
