Sedgwick has appointed Heather Moyes to lead its client accounts, with a particular focus on corporate markets in the UK.
In her new role, Moyes will manage a portfolio of clients and prospects, as well as oversee and further develop existing client relationships.
She brings with her an “impressive and deep” expertise in the insurance industry, following a career spanning nearly 15 years in account management and business development across surveying, loss adjusting and underwriting sales.
Moyes now joins the Sedgwick organization after spending five years as an account executive for a global insurer. According to the group, this prior experience has enabled her to “develop her skillset in client management and an in-depth understanding of the array of risks facing clients in the corporate sector”.
Nicola Dryden, chief client officer at Sedgwick, said: “The effects of the pandemic have been particularly felt through asset risks, corporate market volatility and business interruption.
“Now more than ever, our clients require reassurance and consistent advice to guide them in this ‘new normal.’ With her proven background, Heather is perfectly positioned to provide that reassurance and further enhance Sedgwick’s client relationships.”
Moyes added: “I am delighted to be rejoining the Sedgwick family. I have been particularly impressed by how Sedgwick leads with new and innovative solutions for the benefit of clients and their customers. I look forward to dedicating my efforts towards preserving the delivery of a highly tailored, quality service to both new and existing clients.”
