Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has announced the appointment of Joe Hanly as group chief financial officer, subject to regulatory approval.
Hanly joins SRG following senior roles at PWC, Penna, Integrity Software and most recently, Reed and Mackay where he has been CFO since 2016.
The firm said his experience includes multiple senior finance roles within diverse private equity owned businesses and covers the full range of finance functions as well as operations, mergers and acquisitions and international expansion. Hanly will be based in London and will join SRG’s Board.

He will play an integral part in the continued development of our business, and I look forward to the input and expertise that he will bring.
“Joe’s experience of working for a range of companies backed by private equity investment will be invaluable as we continue in our pursuit of attracting specialists and building a company we are proud to tell our friends and family about.”
Hanly added: “I have followed the progress made by SRG over the past few years and have been impressed by its distinctive culture, combined with its market position as a home for specialists. I am looking forward to working with Warren and the team to help play my part in the next chapter of SRG’s exciting growth journey.”
