The Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), the world’s largest global network of independent insurance and benefits brokers, has appointed Liz Yovich as its member relations manager, effective 4 January, 2022. She will report to Olga Collins, CEO.
Yovich joins WBN from its member firm IMA Global Risk and Benefits, where she provided global clients with employee benefits consulting expertise, handling some of the most complex international programs.
Having worked for one of WBN’s member firms, Yovich reportedly brings a unique understanding of how to deliver high-quality value-added initiatives and enhance collaboration.
She has been a proactive member of WBN since joining the network, and in April 2021, she became chair of WBN’s Young Professionals Group, where she led the strategic and tactical development program for a group of 200+ Young Professionals. She also helped design and coordinate the new Board Mentorship Program for graduates. In addition, she has been a member of the Employee Benefits Steering Committee.
Liz Yovich said: “I am very excited to be joining at such a pivotal moment for WBN. I look forward to working with WBN’s global team, collaborating with members, supporting their businesses, and continuing to build on the success of our Young Professionals initiative.”
Olga Collins, CEO of WBN added: “I am thrilled Liz will become part of our team in this exciting new role. Our vision for this position is to deliver continual support and growth for the network.
“Liz joining also emphasizes the success of our YP program which continues to bring new opportunities to our rising leaders. She has already built great relationships with our members and embodies what our network represents: client focus, deep technical expertise and creativity.”
Sean Jackson, from IMA Global Risk and Benefits, concluded: “Liz has been an amazing credit to the IMA Global Risk & Benefits group and has led her team to deliver world-class EB service to IMA’s multinational clients.
“Liz will be missed at IMA, but I have no doubt that she will be a great asset to the WBN team and to all of our partners around the globe. I look forward to continuing to work with Liz in her new role in WBN.”
